'Sela the Guardian Bird Plush' is from my book "Wren's New Nest". She comes printed on "Petal Signature Cotton" fabric by Spoonflower. She was created by me and was inspired by the original illustrations of Sela Bird in my storybook, which you can also get in my shop.
Sela is the Guardian Bird in the book and keeps a young bird safe while transferring her from her mother to a safe new nest. Wren struggles to be at peace with leaving her old one. However, she manages to find hope to sustain her and embrace her new circumstances. Geared toward children that have been displaced at some point in their lives, my hope is that all the children that read this book would find peace in their situation, knowing that ultimately they are, and always were, loved. Regardless of their circumstances.
Sela Stuffie is great to pair with the book to help comfort and remind a child that they are loved and always have someone watching over them.
